Sparta Praha produced 45 minutes of good quality football that saw off plucky Baník Ostrava. Sparta won the game 2-0 following an inspired performance from youngster Ladislav Krejčí, the 19 year old had a hand in both second half goals.
Tomas Přikryj enhanced his ever growing reputation with the opening goal on 59 minutes and Leonard Kweuke sealed the win on 79 minutes. Krejčí was substituted was on the 90th minute to a standing ovation from the home fans.
